Ross graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London in 2000. He is a dentist with Special Interests in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Restorative Procedures. He has placed over 2,000 implants in the last 10 years.
He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) – and is the Study Club Co-Ordinator for the UK and Ireland which is an extremely prestigious appointment. Ross is also a clinical mentor and registered speaker for this Worldwide Organisation.
Ross has attended extensive Higher Education across the UK, Europe and North America from the world leaders in Implant Dentistry. Ross has also been awarded the highly-regarded Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, London – one of few to have gained this qualification.
He works closely with Straumann implant system – however he has extensive experience with many other implant systems – ensuring that he provides care scientifically proven to be long lasting for his patient’s best interests.
He regularly holds implant courses and lectures nationwide and globally on a variety of topics at different levels, however he has a particular interest in Aesthetic Implant Dentistry, Digital Dentistry and Complex Bone Grafting procedures.
Ross accepts referrals from colleagues for all levels of complicated treatments at both his Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold practices. As well as being a Fellow of the ITI, he is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS). His commitment to Cosmetic Dentistry maintains his Full Membership of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD).
To ensure his standards are of the highest possible, he regularly submits his work to scrutiny by his peers – often at national awards.

Gavin is a General Dentist with an interest in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has a very calm and approachable character. Gavin has previously worked in Hertfordshire and spent several years in private practice in London.
After graduating from Newcastle University with a Clinical Distinction and winning the Coltene prize for the use of composites (white fillings) in 2006, Gavin continued his professional development attending numerous post graduate lectures and courses.
In 2008, Gavin began his implant training with an 18 month mini-residency in London’s Harley Street; further to this, in 2012, he gained a place on the Diploma for Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons, completing the course in 2013.
Having graduated from Kings College London, Mark worked in practice in Kent before relocating to Gloucestershire in 2015 to join our team at both Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practices.
Mark has a keen interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and is a firm believer in taking a holistic, preventative and patient-centred approach to dental care. He is highly motivated to use the most modern techniques in order to help patients to achieve and maintain healthy mouths as well as to help those that never thought they could have a beautiful smile.
Since graduating, Mark has completed a postgraduate diploma in Primary Dental Care with a primary focus in Periodontology (gum disease) and Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment).
Mark has completed the MSc Implantology Programme at University of Bristol and is now a member of the International Team for Implantology and has gained significant experience in single and multiple implant cases with a variety of grafting needs. He has extensive experience of using Digital Workflow for implant-based and tooth-borne restorations and fixed and removable orthodontic systems.
He has a special interest in Orthodontics and is trained and experienced with a range of fixed and removeable clear orthodontic systems – recently Mark has been asked to contribute as a key opinion leader for the Clear Correct Aligner system. He enjoys combining these with tooth whitening techniques to give patients the straighter, whiter smile that they seek.
Having trained in facial aesthetics, Mark enjoys helping patients enhance their complexion by reducing wrinkles and unsightly lines, or gaining volume which has been lost as part of the natural process of aging. He continues to attend courses from highly regarded clinicians on all aspects of dentistry in order to expand his knowledge.
Away from the practice, Mark is a keen cricketer who plays for local club side Poulton CC.
Joao is from Portugal and qualified in Dentistry from the University of Porto (ISCS-N) in 2012 working in a private practice for 2 years. He moved to the UK in 2014 and has worked in Bristol, Bath and the Cotswolds area since then as a General Dentist with a special interest in Implantology, Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry and dentally anxious patients.
During this time, he completed his master’s degree in Implantology at the University of Bristol and is an active Member of both the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).
Joao has a gentle manner, which works especially well for dental-phobic patients, and always endeavours to achieve the best level of care and outcome for his patients. This has led him on to continue his studies with a Post-graduate Certificate in Dental Sedation and Pain Management from University College London (Eastman Dental Institute), thereby allowing him to safely provide intravenous sedation. He is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).
Having a keen focus on dental education, Joao finds that this continued professional development allows him to provide the highest standards of care as he stays attuned with the latest technological developments, techniques and materials available.
Away from work Joao loves his long countryside walks with his wife and his beautiful golden retriever (Rajah). He is also a FC Porto affectionate and a keen runner.
Nida qualified from Birmingham University in 2013 and completed his vocational training in Luton and Bedfordshire.
Nida enjoys all aspects of dentistry and aims to provide the best care and treatment for his patients. He is a firm believer in continuous learning and strives to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry.
Since graduating, Nida has expanded his restorative knowledge by attending several postgraduate programs. He has completed a Masters in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at Manchester Dental Hospital. He has complimented this by completing a certificate in Implantology. Nida is a dentist with Special interest in Prosthodontics. He recently worked as a restorative clinician at the Birmingham Dental Hospital whose practice was limited to prosthodontics.
He has also completed further aesthetic dental training and is able to offer a wide range of treatment such as composite Bonding/Veneers, Invisalign and minimally invasive smile makeovers. He has also trained at the renowned Avanti Academy for facial aesthetics and is able to provide anti-wrinkle and filler treatment.
In his spare time he enjoys travelling to explore new cultures and cuisines. He loves to relax by playing sports or unwinding with a good movie.
Alex qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2015, soon after he went on to undertake vocational training with the Oxford Dental Deanery. Following this, he worked at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in order to hone his surgical skills whilst working as a member of the Maxillofacial Department.
Alex has worked across NHS and Private practices within Gloucestershire. His caring nature means he enjoys helping nervous patients feel comfortable and motivating people to make positive changes. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry – restorative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry including tooth whitening, veneers, crowns, bridgework and restoring dental implants.
Being an active member of Gloucester Independent Dentists, Alex regularly attends study days to keep up to date with the latest advances within dentistry.
Hatem Algraffee is recognized as a specialist in Periodontics by the General Dental Council and attends Cirencester Dental Practice on 2 x Fridays per month.
He is very knowledgeable and experienced in the treatment of the “soft tissues” in the mouth. Your patient’s first consultation with Hatem will include a very thorough assessment of their gum health. Hatem will give invaluable advice regarding oral health care techniques and will explain clearly the causes as well as the solutions to any periodontal problems.
His treatments have a very high success rate and he frequently achieves positive results for patients who have had gum treatment with limited success elsewhere.
Like all his colleagues he is very careful to ensure that all his treatment is carried out painlessly, using very effective local anesthesia. He has a kind, gentle and encouraging manner, and his patients find his explanations and instructions easy to follow.
Hatem qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital in 1996, followed later by a four-year specialist training programme in periodontology and implantology at Guy’s Hospital and two master’s degrees from the University of London.
He also runs Periodontal Seminars for dentists and hygienists.
Rob graduated in 2010 from Trinity College, Dublin. He has broad based experiences working in both primary and secondary specialist care settings.
Rob has completed his post-graduate specialist training in endodontology (root canal treatments) at King’s College, London while at the same time coming to the final stages of completing his PhD. His research interests include the behaviour of dental biomaterials in extreme oral environments. Robert has several peer-reviewed publications relating to his research and clinical experiences.
Rob is an active member of the British Endodontic Society and has been undertaking a wide range of endodontic treatments for several years, accepting referrals for all aspects of root canal treatments, re-treatments as well as surgical endodontic procedures.
Rob will provide you with a comprehensive assessment and advice regarding the tooth/teeth that may need root canal intervention as well as detailing the expected outcome of any proposed treatment.
Jo gained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Manchester Dental Hospital in 1994 and completed her dental radiography qualification in 2000 and extended duties in 2007. She has worked part-time in the local area since moving to Wiltshire in 2002.
Jo is also member of the BSDHT and attends regular meetings and training courses in relation to her continual professional development profile. She has also recently taken on a new exciting role as a Hygienist Ambassador for the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
In her spare time, she enjoys various handicrafts, is a busy Mum with two teenagers and loves walks in the countryside with her husband.
Natalie is a Dental Therapist; within this role she is qualified to perform all Hygiene treatment in addition to carrying out fillings and any treatments on children’s baby teeth.
She graduated from University of Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2015 with Honours, and was awarded the Dame Margaret Seward Award for ‘Dental Hygiene and Therapy Student of the Year’.
Following her graduation, she has carried out further training including Maintenance of Dental Implants and further education in the management of Gum Disease and Tooth Whitening.
Natalie is a keen baker and volunteers as a Dementia friend. She is also currently learning British Sign Language on-line.
Emma joined Cirencester Dental Practice in January 2014 as a Trainee Dental Nurse and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2016 following completion of her course with Cotswold Dental Training.
She has a keen interest in implants and surgical procedures, and has assisted at several Straumann Courses and ITI Study Club evenings. As Head Nurse to Dr Ross Cutts at Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practices, she has over 7 years’ experience in complex surgical and implant procedures including sinus procedures and bone grafting.
Emma is now an ITI Dental Nurse Ambassador. She gained her Radiography Badge in 2019 and continues to further her dental knowledge with continued professional development.
Having started work at Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practice in August 2015, Teresa passed her Dental Nurse Training programme with Cotswold Dental Training in February 2017.
Teresa spent her early working life in a pharmaceutical and dental environment, but put her career on hold to raise her children.
Since returning to the work place, Teresa enjoys spending her time between both Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practices and looks forward to continuing her professional development.
Jean brings a wealth of experience and worked for us as a cover nurse for several years before joining us. She started work as a Dental Nurse straight from school and obtained her NEBDSA dental nursing qualification in 1984.
Jean has lived in the Stow-on-the-Wold area for the majority of her life, apart from 12 years in Germany working for No1 Dental Group HM Forces. She is a member of BADN and enjoys learning new skills and furthering her dental knowledge with continual professional development.
Outside of work, Jean loves spending time with her two grown-up sons, various pets and has wide ranging interests from Forensics to live Gigs and Theatre.
Ellie is local to the Cirencester area. Having finished her A-levels she spent some work experience days with us before deciding that she would like to pursue a career in Dental Nursing.
Having enrolled on a Dental Nurse Training programme with Cotswold Dental Training in 2018, she achieved her National Diploma in Dental Nursing in March 2020. Ellie now continues to further her dental knowledge with continual professional development.
Ranjana qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2016 and has worked for corporate dental practices in Andover and Cirencester for 5 years prior to joining our team.
She loves working with people and providing care during treatment and is committed to furthering her career through continued professional development.
Outside of work Ranjana enjoys painting, baking and arts and crafts.
Sharmila has been working in the hospitality and care sectors since 2011 and is currently studying the NEBON Dental Nurse Course from Forward Academic Team.
She moved to Cirencester from Salisbury in April 2017 and speaks fluent English, Nepalese and Hindi.
Gaynor started her training in 1969 as a Dental Nurse and is still GDC registered.
Prior to relocating to Gloucestershire in 2010, she worked at a private practice in Kent for 18 years; first as a Senior Receptionist; and then as Practice Manager.
Gaynor is Practice Manager of both Cirencester and Stow-on-the-Wold Dental Practices and continues to further her dental knowledge with continual professional development.
Zoe has been with the practice since it’s opening in January 2010 and is local to the area. Prior to joining us she has had 17 years of experience in a variety of PA, administrative, event and marketing management rolls, including 7 years as a Director of a local polo club and 5 years in the Marketing Department at Dyson.
Away from work Zoe enjoys a busy home life with her son Jack and trying to squeeze in the occasional bike ride or gym class.
Victoria began her dental nursing career in 2014 and has always lived and worked locally. Having progressed her career from Dental Nurse to Clinical Manager at her previous practice, Victoria is now keen to develop her Reception skills.
Out of work Victoria has a love of running, walking, bike rides and kickboxing.
Victoria remains a qualified Dental Nurse and continues to further her dental knowledge with continual professional development.
Nicki has joined the Reception Team in Cirencester. Her previous role was at Straumann (dental implant company) for 15 years as a Territory Manager and regenerative specialist, so she’s a font of implant knowledge.
Away from work she is an avid gym bunny and rides a motorbike for fun!
